Are you tired of spending $60 or $70 or even $100 an hour on golf instructors? Well help is now avaiable. A new IPhone app recently released says it can help you with a better golf swing. Developed by ASC Softwear with the help of PGA golf pro Duncan Kegg, the app will only set you back $2.99.
The app uses the IPhones’ accelerometer and you hold the phone just like you would a golf club and you get feedback at every angle. If your angles are right, then you will hear a series of beeps.
Well this is great and all, but how do you grip an IPhone like a golf club? I just can’t picture it. I don’t have an IPhone but trying to grip my own phone like a golf club is pretty uncomfortable. I do like the technology and I am sure many more apps will be coming to market soon that use the same idea. There are already other golf apps out there but they utilize the phones camera to analyze your swing.
Guess the time is getting closer to jump on the band wagon and get a fancy IPhone… Do I sense a equipment review coming on?.?.? Guess we will see. Until then, I will be interested to see how many of these apps they will sale.
