The PGA Tour moves to my hometown this week and the TPC San Antonio will be the home of the Valero Texas Open. We have five players who finished in the top 10 at The Masters and another two that finished in the top 20. For my picks this week I am going to play off the momentum of Augusta. Phil Mickelson likes to play the week before The Masters so he can practice hitting the shots he will use at Augusta next week. Coming into this week he said he didn't know how well he would contend in the Shell Houston Open because the course was not set up to play the "Augusta" type shots. The Shell Houston Open starts off the Spring session of Yahoo Fantasy Golf, and I plan on winning it. I finished in 70th place in Fans of Devil Ball for the winter session. My picks are going to be better this time around, and I will lead from start to finish. This is the final week for the Winter series in Fans of Devil Ball Fantasy Golf. I pretty much was horrible. I am currently in 75th place going into the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week. Gary Woodland won more than a PGA Tour tournament on Sunday. Along with the biggest payday of his career and a two year exemption on TOUR, he will be playing in The Masters in three weeks. Woodland won the Transitions Championship on Sunday with a 10-foot par putt on his 72nd hole, while Webb Simpson bogeyed the 18th right behind him to hand the victory over to Woodland. Two years ago, Nick Watney was one golf ball revolution away from taking Phil Mickelson to a playoff in what was then known as the WGC-CA Championship. This year, besides the tee shot in the water the 18th hole on Saturday, Nick Watney was in full control of his game. On Thursday, I tuned into The Golf Channel broadcast of The Honda Classic and listened to the commentators talk about how long it's been since Rory Sabbatini had done anything on TOUR and how far he has dropped in the World Golf Rankings.
