Golf Training Aid Review: The Navigator by Dirty Larry Golf
I must admit, I use a lot of golf training aids and I'm also a stats geek when it comes to my golf game. I track my golf stats for every round and chart them out. (It's fine, make fun of me now.) For most of my rounds, I track three main categories; fairways hit, greens in regulation and number of putts. I always want to figure out if a golf training aid is working for me or wasting my time. These three statistical categories are among the most basic and easiest to track. As the end of … [Read more...]
#ProjectBreak80: Analyzing My Golf Game @ LaCantera Resort Course
Looking back now over all my years of playing golf, I wish I would have taken it a bit more serious. Although there's nothing I can do to control the past, I certainly can control the future and I can look forward to working on and improving my golf game in the years to come. (Actually, since we're in 2014, I create a … [Read more...]
#ProjectBreak80: Analyzing My Golf Game @ TPC San Antonio

As mentioned in another post, I played TPC San Antonio yesterday. Last weekend I played out at La Cantera Resort … [Read more...]
#ProjectBreak80: Analyzing My Golf Game
I have recently set myself a 16-month goal of cutting my handicap in half. Currently, as of the 8/15 GHIN update, I have a 10.8 handicap. What this means is I would like to have my handicap down to a 5.4 by end of 2015. Is this possible? I think so. It will take some practice and focus, but I think I can do this. Starting with yesterday's round, I am going to begin tracking each round of golf I play and identify where I could improve the most. Sure, it's easy to say my entire golf … [Read more...]

How Important is Golf Posture Throughout the Golf Swing?
Not only is golf posture important in your golf setup, but the consistency of golf posture throughout your golf swing is the secret to hitting the golf ball with consistency. Without consistent golf posture, you can not play consistent golf. Why is Golf Posture Important The primary spinal segments that rotate during your golf swing are your thoracic vertebra (your mid back).
