In this episode of The #GolfNut Podcast, we congratulate Lydia Ko on becoming the youngest major championship winner in LPGA history. Ko won The Evian Championship on Sunday in a route over Lexi Thompson. She blitzed the course with an 8-under 63 to finish six shots better then Thompson. Congrats to Lydia Ko on winning The Evian Championship.
Also in this episode, we touch on the BMW Championship and the big week of golf coming up for the top-70 players in the FedEx Cup. Thirty players will move on to the Tour Championship in Atlanta next week with someone taking $10 million as the grand prize.
Finally, I have taken on two contributor roles as a golf blogger and writer at two new websites to maybe build an audience on other websites. First, I have joined ProGolfNow.com as a staff writer. I’ve written two articles that are live on the website right now:
Matthew Fitzpatrick comes up short in 59 bid at KLM Open
Arnirban Lahiri Looks to Lock Up PGA Tour Card Before President’s Cup
Also, I have agreed to write a couple articles over at Greenskeeper.org. This is a great social golf site with a huge audience and forum. My article is not live yet but I have written about 3 reasons why you shouldn’t be playing the same golf equipment as the pros.
Thanks for listening to The #GolfNut Podcast and find all the other episodes over at iTunes. Oh yeah, don’t forget to leave a rating if you like the show!
