Tiger Woods is going for a record 9th tournament win at Torrey Pines this week. His playing partner on the other hand, is trying for only his second PGA Tour victory. While the two are years apart in wins and age, apparently playing alongside the number one player in the world doesn't phase Jordan Spieth. Have I mentioned before how much I hate the new PGA Tour wraparound season? It’s just stupid. First off, I could have sworn the new season started back in October with the Fry’s.com Open. Funny thing, we haven’t had a meaningful tournament since the Mayakoba in mid-November. And by meaningful, I mean something that counts towards PGA Tour Fed Ex Cup points.
