I recently started a new job and during my first week on the job I got word from a couple people that my new company had a large golf association available to employees and retirees. So guess what I did my first week of work? Yes, I joined the USAA Eagle Golf Club. It's open to current employees and retirees, but you can also bring guests to play as well, which is a nice perk. Volunteering at the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship
This weekend, I had the chance to volunteer at the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship held here in San Antonio at Briggs Ranch Golf Club. I have to complete 45 hours of volunteer service to fulfill my degree requirements, so I thought why not get 12 hours out of the way volunteering doing something involved with the game of golf!
