Typically The Heritage is played the week after The Masters, which would have been last week. Instead, the Valero Texas Open was moved to the week after Augusta and Hilton Head was moved to this week. With most of the big guys taking the week off last week, they will be back in action this week.
Jim Furyk– The defending champ will be looking to continue his good play of late, finishing in the top 25 in his last three starts. Furyk has had good success at this event in the past, with a win, a couple seconds, a fourth and a tie for 10th. I am going to back-up Furyk with Luke Donald, who is coming off a top five finish at The Masters.
Rickie Fowler and Bill Haas– Rickie made his pro debut at Hilton Head three years ago. Shot a final round 67 last year and finished with a top-10. With three top-10 finishes this year along with a T2 at Bob Hope Classic I am also starting Bill Haas. To back these two up I am going with Bo Van Pelt and Ben Crane.
For my C players I am going to start Jason Day. His best finish of the year was two weeks ago at Augusta, with a T2. Look for Jason Day to build on that great Masters finish. Boo Weekley will be my backup for Jason Day.
