So Tiger Woods is participating in the made for Golf Channel Tavistock Cup. This is the annual get-together between Isleworth and Lake Nona, two exclusive golf clubs in the Orlando area operated by the Tavistock Group. This year, two other clubs have joined forces and Tiger is playing for Albany, a Bahamas golf development in which he is involved with. Queenwood is another golf club in England which is operated by the Tavistock Group as well. (Hint Tavistock Cup…)
The one thing that comes along with Tiger making another public appearance is the questions about how his game is progressing. Is there anyone else sick and tired of hearing about how his game is “progressing?” It seems every time out in front of a camera he is progressing. I mean enough already. I wish just one time he would come out and admit he is having a hard time picking up on the new swing mechanics and tell the world how it’s a struggle right now. Butch Harmon even mentioned on air you look like a Nationwide player hacking it all over the place.
Two things are going to happen. 1.) Tiger Woods will win soon and all the questions will be turned to how long it will take to get to 19 majors. Or 2.) Tiger Woods will go winless in 2011 and fire Sean Foley and go at it on his own. I really don’t think there is another teacher out there who will coach this guy.
I just one or the other would happen sooner rather than later because I am getting real sick of hearing about his game progressing. I personally hope he gets back to winning rather than struggling all year. Then we can turn our attention to what took so long…
