On Thursday, I tuned into The Golf Channel broadcast of The Honda Classic and listened to the commentators talk about how long it’s been since Rory Sabbatini had done anything on TOUR and how far he has dropped in the World Golf Rankings. On Sunday, Rory Sabbatini won The Honda Classic, and I wonder if maybe he tuned into the broadcast to hear Dottie Pepper and the gang bash him.
At the conclusion of play on Sunday, only 13 players were in red numbers. The PGA National Championship Course played tough all week. The Bear Trap lived up to it’s reputation, especially when the wind blows like it did all week. Y.E. Yang gave Sabbatini a good run today, shooting a 4-under 66, and finishing at 8-under for the tournament. Graeme McDowell shot a 64 today and should get me some good fantasy points, because nobody else did crap for me all week.
It sucks that NBC still has the coverage right now and it’s not live, especially since I already know who won the tournament. It was a good win for Sabbatini and he pretty much dominated Friday thru Sunday.
On to the WGC- Cadillac Championship at Doral and the Puerto Rico Open. What will Tiger do this week?

I’m hoping to see a great match up between Tiger and Phil this week. Definitely reminiscent of the old days. There both looking to regain their top golfing games this week. Mickelson after his loss to Folwer during the Match play and well Tiger with his swing change.

I am hoping for a good showing by them both as well. Graeme McDowell is in the group as well so he just may beat them both… We will see should be a good weekend. Thanks for the comment!!
