I want to take a minute and wish the readers of Front9Back9 Golf Blog a HAPPY NEW YEAR. May 2011 bring you health, wealth and happiness for you and your family and friends.
Thank you for supporting Front9Back9 Golf Blog and 2011 will be a great year for the blog, so I hope you are along for the ride. Below I have included four golf resolutions for myself and this blog for 2011. If you have some golf resolutions, please feel free to share them below.
1.) I want to play in three local amateur events here in San Antonio in 2011: Men’s Amateur Championship, Men’s Match Play Championship, and Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship.
2.) I want to take at least one golf lesson each month for the entire year, and cut my handicap in half. As of December 15 it was sitting at a 11.7.
3.) I want to turn Front9Back9 Golf Blog into more of an all-around golf website, complete with city golf guides, tee times, and a forum. I want to post 7-10 times per week and start having guest posts on the blog as well and build a community around the blog.
4.) I want to play 2-3 times per month. This may not seem like a lot, but I have a full time “real” job during the day and can normally only get out on the weekends until the time changes again. So 2-3 times per month might be a stretch for me. I do have a golf range I practice up the road from me which has lights, so I am going to hit balls 4-5 times per week in the evening.
Again, thanks for all your support in 2010 for the blog, and everyone have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEARS!!
