Apparently a hefty divorce settlement hasn’t delayed the plans to build a nice little bachelor pad for the world’s #2 ranked golfer. Tiger Woods is reportedly ready to move into his new bachelor pad. What a better way to celebrate the one year anniversary of the infamous Thanksgiving fire hydrant mishap, then moving into a $50 million Jupiter Island mansion?
Aerial pictures of Tiger Woods new mansion have begun to surface, thanks to Jeff Lichtenstein, a Palm Beach County real estate agent who specializes in high end homes in the area. The home was reportedly purchased for $35 million in 2007 and an additional $15 million in improvements, including a 6,400-square-foot gym/media room/bar. It also includes a lap pool and elevator.
The most interesting part to me is the greens and sand traps scattered around the property. It looks like Tiger has constructed his own private driving range, which seems from the aerial photos, could be big enough to hit a driver at some angles. Now he can practice in privacy with Sean Foley and not have to worry about photographers snapping photos.
It’s certainly a beautiful place and the private golf clubs in the area should be preparing a Power Point presentation getting ready for Tiger’s arrival in the area. His high profile status will most likely bring unwanted attention to the area, but what can you do? You now have the best player in the world to play golf with. And who can say no to that?
