Ryder Cup coverage has resumed on NBC finally after another lengthy rain delay and things don’t seem to be turning around for the Americans right now. They are still currently down in five matches and Woods and Stricker have already lost their match to Westwood and Donald. The matches will definetely have to finish on Monday now and Woods and Stricker need to go do something to get their games back.
The U.S team is up 6 to 5 right now over the Europeans. Currently as I write this, two matches are 3-up and the other three matches Europe is 1-up. If the United States can pull out two of the five remaining matches and go into singles all ties at 8 a piece, I think the U.S. has a chance in singles on Monday. If Europe pulls out all five matches to make it 10-6 then the U.S. is going to struggle to retain the cup.
