There was no fog delay Saturday morning and it looks as if they will get getting back on schedule by the end of the day. Some of the biggest names in golf are starting to get closer to the leader, Matt Kuchar. The conditions are perfect right now. Rain overnight has softened the course even more and the wind is pretty calm right now. That can change at anytime but right now is the time for Tiger, Vijay, and Bubba Watson to get some birdies before they go out for the start of their third round. Jim Furyk is 4-under for in his second round and 6-under overall. Tiger Woods is 2-under overall and Vijay Singh is currently 4-under overall.
Phil Mickelson was able to finish his second round on Friday and currently sits at 2-under. Matt Kuchar is leading the way at 8-under. It would be a great story if Kuchar can hang on. He was a celebrated amateur and has been through a lot since turning professional. Just four years ago he was playing on the Nationwide Tour and has worked his way back and currently sits on top of the final major after the second round.
This is shaping up to be a fantastic weekend and I cannot wait until TNT coverage starts in 2o minutes. And you know what, I will be watching all day.
