I received an email from Team Titleist today about the new Titleist 910 metal woods. If you haven’t heard of Team Titleist, it’s just a way of Titleist giving you supposedly “exclusive” news and information available first to Team Titleist members only. It also gives you access to possibly getting a chance to be on test panels and invitation only fittings and other perks. I don’t know how “exclusive” it is and I have never been invited to a special fitting, but either way, you can sign up for free here. Being a golf nut they do send cool informative emails.
But back to the new metal woods. They look pretty sweet. The email said they will be available for testing at the Acushnet Oceanside Test Facility and they are now officially legal on the PGA Tour. Some of the pros will be using them this week in the Travelers Championship. From the pictures included in the email, they are sharp looking woods. I have always loved Titleist irons and woods but I have switched to the Ping I15 driver recently and have loved it. I was at my local Golf Galaxy today testing the Titleist 909H hybrids, but I think now I will wait until these new 910’s are released.
These 910 woods are not even on the Titleist website yet, so they are pretty new. I have read some postings around the internet about them and seen pictures in the past but I am now excited to see when they will be released to the public.
I am really looking forward to hitting these when they come out.
