Just sitting here watching the final round of The Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and Dustin Johnson and Paul Goydos seem to be tightening up right now on the back nine while david Duval is 3 under on the 14th and sitting at -15 overall, two back of the leaders. Johnson and Goydos have both just missed the green on the par 3 12th and will need good shots to try and save par.
I really hope David Duval gets a victory soon. I think it’s a great story to come back and win after all he has been through and how high he was ranked at one point and to get back on tour with a victory would be awesome for him.
In the interviews I heard with him all week it seems he is getting his confidence back and he feels he is hitting it pretty good right now. I guess we will see how he finishes this week.
BTW… Goydos just has hit a poor bunker shot and has about 10-12 feet left for par… And he missed it. Back to -16. Dustin Johnson bogey as well, one shot lead now over Duval.
Dammit.. right before I posted this Duval bogeyed number 14. Two shots back now.
